History
Kingston View Farms was established by the Green family in the early 1900s in the rural community of Kingston, Prince Edward Island. The original livestock consisted of a purebred herd of Guernsey dairy cattle, sheep, pigs and horses. It ran successfully until 1998 when the decision was made to semi-retire the farm.
In the early 2000's Nick purchased the homestead and later in 2015, he purchased his first three bred commercial beef cows, and began cash cropping. In 2017, the remaining farm assets were purchased. The cattle herd was transitioned to a free range management style in 2019 and as of 2023, the main cow herd is now at 45 and growing annually.
Today, the farm is currently owned and operated by Nick Green, Grandson of Harrison & Lennie Green and son of Clifford & Donna Green.
